Harish Kalyan, one of the finalists of Bigg Boss Tamil, has sung a song for Silambarasan’s debut album as a composer. The title song for Santhanam’s Sakka Podu Podu Raja was recorded and Harish shared a video clip where we see him and Simbu working on the song. He captioned the video, “#Rasigan singing for #Thalaivan #STR musical !! #SakkaPoduPoduRaja @iamsanthanam @vtvganeshoff @SonyMusicSouth.”
In an interview with Times of India, Harish was quotes as saying, “I had met Simbu after my stint inside the Bigg Boss house. He knows that I can sing as well, as he has heard a few of my songs, like ‘I’m Single’, which I had worked on with a friend. A few days ago, he called to ask me if I wanted to try singing a song in this film. We did a voice test and two days later, we recorded the song. This track will also feature the popular rapper Aaryan Dinesh Kanagarathnam.”
Harish’s popularity rose after his appearance in the reality show, hosted by Kamal Haasan. His friendship with Bindu Madhavi was one of the things that audience liked about this actor. He is also expected to team up with another popular contestant, Raiza for a feature film. It is a romantic comedy, in which Harish will play the role of a middle class boy. The music for this film will be scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. This film is to be directed by Graghanam director, Elan.
