First-look posters of Suriya’s 24 out

Producers Studio Green and 2D Entertainment released two first-look posters of Tamil star Suriya’s new film 24. While one of them has the actor channeling an angry look, the other shows the star as a math wizard.

The first two posters of actor Suriya’s ambitious new project 24 were released on Tuesday. Going by the look of the two, Suriya will be seen in two distinctly different avatars in the film. In one of them, a suited-and-a-French-beard-sporting Suriya channels a rather aggressive look. The other is a rather gentle poster and shows the actor as some sort of a math wizard. The overwhelming blue and background full of mathematical calculations give the poster a rather serene look while the ocre-brown shades of the former lends it a certain sinister feel.

The two posters have certainly piqued a lot of curiosity among the actor’s fans with film lovers guessing its genre. Rumoured to be based on the concept of time-travel, the film also stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nithya Menen.

Jointly produced by Studio Green and 2D Entertainment, the film is directed by Vikram Kumar and is slated for a summer 2016 release. The film has music by AR Rahman.
