Ileana D’Cruz is no stranger to Telugu filmdom. Having delivered some of her career’s biggest hits in the industry in the form of Pokkiri, Kick and July, she’s all set to make a comeback. If the industry grapevine is anything to go by, Ileana may reunite with Ravi Teja in director Sreenu Vaitla’s upcoming film Amar Akbar Anthony, in which Ravi plays triple role. Apparently, Ileana has been brought in as the replacement to Anu Emmanuel, who opted out of the project citing date issues. Anu recently tweeted: “Unfortunately I won’t be a part of Amar Akbar Anthony due to date clash between Sailaja Reddy Alludu. I wish the team of Amar Akbar Anthony all the best.”

Meanwhile, Vaitla recently completed the first schedule of Amar Akbar Anthony in the US. Ravi Teja, having recently completed work on Kalyan Krishna’s Nela Ticket, is looking forward to this project. Having begun the year on a dull note with the failure of Touch Chesi Chudu, Ravi hopes to find his mojo back with this film which is important for Vaitla as well after the back-to-back failures of Bruce Lee and Mister.
