The official song of the Malayalam film, Pulimurugan (The Wild Hunter), Kaadaniyum Kalchilambe, starring superstar Mohanlal, was released late on Wednesday. Composed by Gopi Sundar and sung by veteran singers Chithra and Yesudas, Kaadaniyum is very pleasing to listen to. A lyrical number, it is a celebration of family life.
It’s official video shows Mohanlal enjoying his picturesque middle-class village life, going through the humdrum of daily chores -- fetching firewood from the forests, catching fish from the river, getting the fresh taste of honey, enjoying a swig of country liquor and many such moments that one doesn’t get to see in urban India.
It is a paean to marriage -- watch Mohanlal and Kamalini Mukherjee and their moments of conjugal bliss. Finally, Kaadaniyum Kalchilambe is a beautiful celebration of Kerala -- so lush and so soothing to the eye and so lovingly captured by cinematographer Shaji Kumar.
