Riteish Deshmukh storms box office again, Lai Bhaari earns Rs 10.55 crore

Riteish Deshmukh's Lai Bhaari continues to set new benchmarks at the box office. After giving Dharma Productions' Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya a run for its money, this Marathi film has set the cash registers ringing: collecting Rs 10.55 crore over the weekend in Maharashtra.

Riteish Deshmukh's dream run at the box office continues, and now even his fiercest critic is flummoxed. After a superlative performance in Ek Villain, he gave Dharma Productions' big-budget film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania a run for its money with Lai Bhaari, which he's co-produced. The Marathi film, starring Riteish and Sharad Kelkar, earned Rs 10.55 crore over the weekend in Maharashtra alone.

The film earned Rs 3.6 crore on Saturday, a slight jump from the opening collection of Rs 3.1 crore. Nishikant Kamat's directorial venture Lai Bhaari further picked up on Sunday and earned Rs 3.85 crore on Sunday, averaging a total of Rs 10.55 crore over the weekend.
