Teaser of Tik Tik Tik, India’s first space film, is out. Watch video

In Tik Tik Tik, Jayam Ravi will play a magician as well as an astronaut. The teaser gives you a peek into the film’s story -- a team fighting to stop a 200 ton missile from reaching Earth.

Tik Tik Tik is being promoted as India’s first space film and going by the teaser, one wouldn’t be disappointed. The visuals assure that we are in for a truly out of the space experience when the film hits the screens later this year. Going by the teaser, it’s evident that Jayam Ravi and his team are on a mission to stop 200 kilo ton missile from reaching Earth. In the teaser, Jayam Ravi can be seen as a magician as well as an astronaut. Is he playing a dual role? It has to be seen when the film has any surprises for us.

Tik Tik Tik is directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan and stars Jayam Ravi.

The film marks the reunion of Ravi and director Shakti Soundar Rajan after last year’s zombie thriller Miruthan. Tipped to be a race against time thriller, the film also stars Nivetha Pethuraj and Singaporean actor Aziz Aaron.

Talking about the film, Shakti had in a recent interview: “We have explored the space genre in a commercial set up. It’s very challenging to engage audience when the story shifts to space as there are not too many elements to play with. Our film has no romance and even the songs have been shot as montages but we have elements we think will appeal to everybody.” Produced by Hitesh Jhabak, the film has music by D Imman.
