Her Bollywood and Tollywood debut may not have yielded great results but 19-year-old Sayyeshaa is making heads turn in Kollywood with her upcoming debut film, Vanamagan. Paired opposite Jayam Ravi in the film, directed by Vijay, the youngster has a lengthier role than Ravi and even has more dialogues than him. Ravi plays a tribal character and barely speaks a few lines apart from mouthing a few gibberish words. In Vanamagan, she has an introduction song, Damn Damn, choreographed by Prabhudheva, and its video has taken the internet by storm as it features Sayyeshaa performing some breathtaking moves and she does them effortlessly.
Even before the release of Vanamagan, she has signed her second Tamil film, Karuppu Raja Vellai Raja, in Prabhudheva’s direction and the project also stars Karthi and Vishal. Apparently, she has also been approached for three more big Tamil projects including a rumoured offer to star opposite Suriya in his next outing. Sayyeshaa’s impeccable dancing skills have drawn the attention of all the leading Tamil filmmakers and it’s just a matter of time before she is cast alongside one of the leading Tamil stars.
On Sunday, she shared a video in which she is seen grooving to Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You, and within no time the video went viral. Despite the debacle of her Telugu film Akhil, Sayyeshaa continues to get offers from Telugu filmdom but she is not in a hurry to sign films just for the sake of it.
