TV’s new bahu Billo is here. She loots the groom even before the wedding night is over.

You have seen weeping, heavily clad, scheming bahus of the small screen and if you are bored to death by them, then here comes Billo, played by actor Krishna Gokhani of Imagine’s new show Looteri Dulhan. An expert con, Billo loots the groom even before the wedding night is over!

HT City caught up with Gokhani, who was recently in the Capital for the show’s promotion. About her character, she says, “Billo comes from a family of thugs and uses her charm to con and loot the oldies. She easily slips into the roles of the various brides by donning different looks. On one occasion, she is a Punjabi girl and on other, a banjaran.” So were there any difficulties while doing this character? “It was tough. To suit each look, I have to get my dialect and body language right,” she says.

Gokhani shot to fame with her ideal character of Bhakti in Hamari Devrani and Billo is completely opposite of that. Explaining her choice Gokhani says: “This show lets me show my versatility.”
