VJ-turned-actor Keith Sequeira, who is the latest one to be evicted from the ongoing controversial reality show Bigg Boss 9, says Mandana Karimi, his partner in the game, is the biggest strategist. “I believe Mandana is a better strategist on the show.”
The actor who played Officer Roy in Diya Aur Baati Hum before coming on Bigg Boss, says that Priya Malik is smart and “since she had already been to a show like Big Brother, she knew the format.”
One of the front-runners for winning Bigg Boss 9 is that Prince Narula has the strongest chances of winning. Keith, who is known and admired for his calm demeanor on the show, admits that Prince is a strong contender, but expresses his hopes that Rochelle wins the title. “I am not saying this because Rochelle is my girlfriend. This show is bigger than all the other shows on Indian television and the audiences like watching someone who is real. They want someone who makes mistakes, apologises, cries and also laughs. I think nobody has these qualities but Rochelle. She is real on the show,” says Keith.
With just a couple of days left for the finale, Keith, undoubtedly is upset about his sudden eviction. However, he is happy that the audiences liked him on the show because of his calm nature. “The show’s format demands a lot of backbiting and fighting and honestly, I am not that kind of person. I was among the top five finalists and it feels bad to be voted out. I left the show midway when I lost my brother. I broke down badly. Post the tragic incident, I went into a shell. By the time I returned on the show, everybody had come into their own. But I am someone who cannot fight all the time,” he says.

Interestingly, whenever the couple fought on the show, it was Keith who apologised to Rochelle, which became a subject of discussion inside the house too. “I will always say sorry to a lady because that’s what I am in real life too. When I fought with Priya Malik, I apologised to her also. I cannot be rude to a lady,” says Keith, who believes his relationship with Rochelle has evolved after participating in Bigg Boss.
