Bollywood actor Esha Deol will be back to acting with a short film soon - Cakewalk. This will be her first onscreen appearance after her daughter, Radhya Takhtani, was born on October 20, last year. Directed by Ram Kamal, who also wrote Esha’s mom Hema Malini’s autobiography, the short film will also star Tarun Malhotra, Anindita Bose and Siddhartha Chatterjee.
Bollywood actor, dancer and politician Hema Malini shared the first look from Cakewalk on Twitter and wrote, “Sharing the first look of my darling daughter @Esha_Deol in the short film #Cakewalk directed by @Ramkamal in London which was unveiled by me. I wish them both all success.” Abhra Chakraborty has also co-directed the short film.
Esha was last seen in Kill Them Young, a multi-lingual film that was a sequel to the 2006 Kannada hit Care of Footpath.She was also seen as one of the ‘gang leaders’ on MTV’s popular reality show Roadies in 2015 where she appeared along side Rannvijay Singha, Karan Kundra and Vijendra Singh.
