Refuting rumours that she is all set to tie the knot, Sasural Simar Ka star Dipika Kakar has said that her co-star from the show Shoaib Ibrahim is yet to propose her.

Dipika Kakkar and Shoaib Ibrahim made their relationship public earlier this year.

The two fell in love three years ago after working on TV show Sasural Simar Ka, where they played each other’s love interest. The couple made their relationship public earlier this year and the 30-year-old actress has said she is happy that they have finally admitted their feelings for each other but is clueless about Shoaib’s proposal.

While Dipika continues to be part of Sasural Simar Ka, which made her a household name, Shoaib, 29, quit the show in 2013 after working for two years. The pair’s on screen chemistry was loved by the fans.

The actress, who earlier revealed she fell for Shoaib after he left the drama, has said she is not sure how will they work together now as they are a real-life couple and things have changed between them.

“I’m not sure if Shoaib and I would be able to do a scene together in the present time because we just can’t stop laughing whenever we are together. Even when we make videos or dubsmash we are just not able to control our laughter. But I would love to share the screen with him again,” she said.
