He’s already a popular face on TV, and now Manish Paul may also be India’s highest paid non-Bollywood anchor. Reports suggest that Paul will take home a whopping Rs 2.5 crore for hosting the 9th season of popular dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, which starts airing later this month.

The TV anchor-turned-actor, who returns as the host for the fifth consecutive year, will reportedly be paid Rs 2.5 crore for the latest season. According to a report in The Times of India, Paul, who returns to host the show for the fifth consecutive year, was paid Rs 1.5 crore from the show last year.
Comedian Gaurav Gera, TV actors Arjun Bijlani (Naagin), Helly Shah (Swara) and Shakti Arora (Meri Aashiqui Tumse Hi), Bollywood actors Surveen Chawla and Karishma Tanna; dancers Priyanka and Poonam Shahand celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi will take part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9 that will see filmmaker Karan Johar, actor Jacqueline Fernandez and choreographer Ganesh Hegde as the judges on the show.
