Ratan Rajput, who plays titular role in popular TV soap Santoshi Maa, is all set to quit the show as her character will meet with sudden death.

Santoshi Maa features Gracy Singh as Goddess Santoshi.

Santoshi Maa, which also stars Gracy Singh, Sayantani Ghosh, Upasana Singh and Ayaz Ahmed, will soon witness a huge twist after the exit of Santoshi.

“Every character has its own time span in a story and mine may come to an end. It’s sad if I have to leave such a wonderful show. My character is certainly dying. But if she comes back to life, that remains to be seen,” Rajan said in a statement.

The &TV show is currently showing Dhairya (Ayaz) falling for Santoshi (Ratan). The show will witness a big twist in Dhairya and Santoshi’s relationship after Madhu (Upasana) will plan to kill Santoshi and will hire a goon to do it.
