Shweta Menon evicted from Dancing Queen

Shweta Menon, who played mentor to Bhoomika in Dancing Queen, has been eliminated from the show, writes Gita Hari.

The item girl and her partner Bhoomika Jhaveri are still in shock. Shweta Menon, who played mentor to Jhaveri in Dancing Queen, was eliminated from the Colors reality show last night.

Extra effort
Jhaveri who has a skin ailment, took extra efforts to conceal her condition and put up commendable performances along with her mentor. Yet, the pair always found themselves in the danger zone. Says Menon, “I can’t believe we did not manage enough votes.”

On Friday, the duo danced to a track from the Madhuri Dixit movie Aaja Nachle and scored 15 points from Hema Malini and Jeetendra. Menon adds that probably luck plays a bigger role than the dance performances.

About her partner, Menon says, “Bhoomika has been inspiring. I am very happy to have met her.”

Has this experience weaned her from reality shows? “Not at all,” she exclaims. Menon adds that she is now determined to take part in more such shows, “I’m like a tigress who has tasted blood.”
