Kapil Sharma’s new comedy show cannot come soon enough for his fans but you’ll be happy to know that a lot of changes have been made to the old format of Comedy Nights With Kapil. For instance, it looks like Ali Asgar will no longer play ‘Dadi’ or any other female character on the show.

In a new promo released by Sony Entertainment Television, Ali and Kapil are seen discussing what the former’s character should look like on the show. “Is this what it looks like when men dress as women?,” asks Ali, wearing a funky blue wig. Kapil asks him if he knows how to tie a saree to which a regretful Ali replies “Tying a saree is what I know. Never learnt how to tie a pyjama.”

The promo is short and simple with the same earthy humour that the audience loves so much. The first guest on the show will be Shah Rukh Khan, followed by singer Yo Yo Honey Singh.
