Social media has gone into a tizzy about Priyanka Chopra’s character in her new show Quantico, which will be airing on ABC Network. The trailer of the show that was released four days back already has more than 1 million hits on YouTube.

From collaborating with the likes of Will.i.am and Pitbull, to now starring in an upcoming American TV drama,

has already made her mark globally. But it still seems like the actor can never run too far from jibes about her ‘Americanised’ accent.

Social media has gone into a tizzy about Priyanka Chopra’s character in her new show Quantico, which will be airing on ABC Network. The trailer of the show that was released four days back already has more than 1 million hits on YouTube.

“What’s with that accent, Priyanka Chopra?” asked film critic Subhash K Jha on Twitter.

“Did Priyanka Chopra take accent coaching from Salman Khan?” wrote Twitter user Tejas Tasgaonkar, while another user, Luna, added “Just heard Priyanka Chopra simulate an orgasm on the ABC series, Quantico.. and that wasn’t half as bad as her American accent!”

While many lashed out at the accent, others from the film industry also came out in support and congratulated the actor on her American TV debut.
