Lauren Gottlieb, best known for playing the female lead in Remo D’Souza’s ABCD: Any Body Can Dance (2013), and also participating in a dance reality show, was busy playing the perfect teacher to her star student a couple of days ago. The professional dancer was training Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise for an upcoming awards show.
"Lauren was supposed to start shooting for the sequel of Remo D’Souza’s film in the US, but the film was delayed after some members of the cast and crew had visa problems," says a source.
In the meantime, Lauren had already made it to her hometown of Arizona. "She got a call from an agency saying that they need herto train Cruise for the American Music Awards. This isn’t the first time that Lauren is training Cruise. In the past, she has given the actor and his then-wife, Katie Holmes, private dance lessons. And since Cruise will be returning to stage after a while, he wanted Lauren to help him with his training this time as well," says the source.
When contacted, Lauren confirmed the news, saying, "It was such a privilege to work with Tom Cruise again. He is a wonderful student and doesn’t have an ego."
