A senior Hamas official urged the United States on Monday to pressure Israel to end the war in Gaza. Sami Abu Zuhri's appeal to the United States came ahead of U.S. State Secretary Antony Blinken's visit to Israel to push the latest ceasefire plan proposed by the U.S. President Joe Biden on May 31.
