After Bryansk bus attack, Belarus flexes Oreshnik deterrent; Lukashenko warns against ‘hot tempers’

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said Belarus remains under hybrid pressure from the West and claimed the deployment of the Oreshnik mobile missile system and tactical nuclear weapons has strengthened the country’s deterrence posture. In the remarks, he said Belarus does not want war but will not bow to any enemy, while presenting its military buildup as a defensive necessity.
