After Iran Media Flaunts 9 Missiles That Can Reach Israel, IAF Forms 'The Battering Ram' Squadron

The Israeli Air Force has formed a new drone squadron to fight Hamas in Gaza. The 147th squadron, also known as the 'Battering Ram,' was inaugurated at the Palmachim Air Base on April 7. The new squadron will operate the Elbit Hermes 900 unmanned aerial vehicle. Palmachim Aair Base houses the only other Hermes 900 squadron, the 166th. This came as Iranian media flaunted nine missiles that can reportedly reach Israel, as Tehran doubled down its threats to Tel Aviv in connection to the attack on its consulate compound in Syria's Damascus on April 1.
