China’s foreign ministry said on Tuesday (March 11) that it was closely monitoring the situation as the Philippines arrested its former President Rodrigo Duterte on a warrant from the International Criminal Court (ICC). Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning made the remarks during a regular press briefing when asked about Duterte's arrest on Tuesday.
