After Udaipur killing, NIA to take over Amravati murder probe

- Days after taking over the investigation into the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) will take over probe related to the murder case of Amravati-based chemist Umesh Prahladrao Kolhe on 21 June. Informing about the latest development, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) took to twitter and wrote, "MHA has handed over the investigation of the case relating to the barbaric killing of Shri Umesh Kolhe in Amravati, Maharashtra on 21st June to NIA. The conspiracy behind the killing, involvement of organisations and international linkages would be thoroughly investigated." Sources had told HT, that Umesh Kolhe too like Kanhaiya Lal had supported Nupur Sharma weeks before his murder. Watch this video for more details.
