AIMIM MLA’s son accused in Hyderabad gangrape case; 5 minors in custody

• The Telangana police have arrested all 6 accused - one adult and five minors, in connection to the Hyderabad Gangrape case. The police confirmed that all 6 accused had political links and that one of the accused was AIMIM MLA's son. On May 28, a minor was gangraped by 6 people in a car after she left a pub in Hyderabad's posh Jubilee Hills area. Police said that the pub had been booked by minors for up to ₹ 900 per head in the name of one Osman Ali Khan. This comes after BJP MLA Raghunandan Rao was booked for releasing a video clip and photographs of the gangrape survivor and her assailants, alleging the presence of the MLA's son in a car with her.
