Ballia: One wrestles, other climbs tree; Frontline warriors battle vax hesitancy

• Another case of vaccine hesitancy has surfaced from poll-bound Uttar Pradesh. In 2 separate videos from Ballia district, men can be seen running away from getting jabbed. In the first viral video, a fisherman can be seen wrestling a frontline worker as he tries to convince him to take the jab. He screams that he won't get vaccinated as they are not good. In another video, a man climbs up a tree fearing vaccines. He could be heard saying that he is scared of the vaccines. He then eventually relents and takes the jab after frontline workers convince him. The videos are examples of the challenged frontline workers face while inoculating people in remote areas of India. Ballia is among Uttar Pradesh's worst-performing districts when it comes to overall vaccinations in the state. Watch the viral videos.
