Boost for India’s defence forces; MRSAM air defence missile system test-fired

• In a major boost for the defence forces, India today successfully test-fired the Medium Range Surface to Air Missile air defence system off the coast of Odisha's Balasore. "MRSAM-Army missile system flight was test fired from ITR Balasore, Odisha at around 1030 hours and intercepted a high-speed aerial target at long range," the DRDO said. The system is part of the Indian Army. In the test, the missile secured a direct hit at the target at a very far off distance. Watch this video for more details.
