BRICS Business Forum: Modi Unveils New Networks for Agriculture, Health & Startups

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at the Leaders’ Session of the BRICS Business Forum, said India is building economic bridges at a time when trade barriers are rising globally. Modi highlighted India’s free trade agreements with nearly 40 countries since 2014 and said the country’s approach remains focused on reducing barriers and expanding opportunities for businesses. Under India’s BRICS presidency, new cooperation networks have been established in areas including agriculture, healthcare, skills and smart grids.
