Brinda Karat blocks bulldozer,Owaisi visits Jahangirpuri;Netas oppose demolition

• As authorities razed several buildings in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri which had witnessed communal violence on April 16 during a Hanuman Jayanti procession, CPI(M) leader Brinda Karat stood in front of a bulldozer blocking it with a copy of a Supreme Court order directing the authorities to stop the demolition drive. The video has now gone viral. Hours after the demolition drive stopped, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi visited the area and blamed the cops for not handling the situation properly.
