Budha Amarnath Yatra: Multi-Layer Security Tightened Along Rajouri-Poonch Highway

Multi-layer security arrangements have been deployed along the Rajouri-Poonch National Highway (NH-144A) on the second day of the Budha Amarnath Yatra. Security forces have intensified surveillance along the key route connecting Rajouri and Poonch to ensure the safe and smooth movement of pilgrims travelling between Jammu, Rajouri and Poonch. Personnel from the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police, CRPF, CISF and other security agencies are maintaining heightened alertness at strategic locations and along the highway. The security measures are aimed at safeguarding pilgrims and ensuring uninterrupted movement during the annual pilgrimage in Jammu and Kashmir.
