California: Bear Wanders Into Library, Raids Staff Snacks Before Opening | Hindustan Times

A curious black bear was caught on security cameras wandering inside a local library in Mammoth Lakes, California, at around 6 a.m., hours before opening time. The unexpected visitor reportedly left the books untouched but found its way to snacks meant for library staff. According to Mono County Free Libraries Director Josef Bopp, how the bear entered remains a mystery because the doors were locked. While the unusual visit has captured attention, officials are reminding residents and visitors to follow local bear-awareness protocols to protect both people and wildlife.
