Eunuch community to debut at Independence Day parade

For the first-time ever in the history of our country, the Odisha Government has taken an initiative to empower the third gender community by allowing them to be a part of the Independence-Day parade. The Eunuch community in Bhubaneswar will march in the I-Day parade that is set to take place at the Mahatma Gandhi Marg. The police commissioner has also been informed of the same. These steps have been taken to empower this section of the community so that they lead a stable life.
