Rescue worker’s dramatic child rescue video in Kerala goes viral

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) rescue officer Kanhaiya Kumar is in news for all the right reasons. A dramatic video of Kumar, which shows him running across a sinking bridge in flood-hit Kerala as he rescues a child, has drawn accolades.The child, who was rescued by Kumar from Idukki district of Kerala, was suffering from high fever and had to be shifted to a nearby hospital. The video of his selfless act has been lauded on social media.
