Watch | Cops turn midwives for woman in labour

Four policewomen came to the rescue of a woman and helped her deliver a baby on a pavement in Hyderabad. The women cops set up a makeshift labour room using sarees and bedsheets as it was too late to shift the woman to a hospital. Police Inspector Bheem Reddy, who noticed the woman in distress, reacted swiftly and pressed a team of women constables near city's Shanti Theatre for her help. Women cops Sharadha, Shoba, Jyothi and Divya facilitated the delivery. The mother and the baby were shifted to a nearby hospital soon.
