Women take charge of farmer struggle for loan waivers and better pricing

Thousands of farmers belonging to 150 different farm organizations have come together in New Delhi for a two-day protest. Farmers from around 20 different states demanded better pricing for their produce and loans to be waived off. All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee conducted a Kisan Mukti Sansad which constituted 100% women 'sansads' to discuss the issues of women and farmers.
