After India warns, UK recognises Covishield but mum on vaccine certificate

After India’s warning over, the UK government recognized Covishield as an “approved” vaccine in its travel policy. The UK government issued a revised travel advisory but still did not clarify over quarantine rules. Indians with both Covishield doses may still have to undergo mandatory quarantine after arriving in the UK. The SII CEO Adar Poonawalla said he was delighted that Covishield (manufactured by SII), has been included in UK’s Covid travel policy. Watch the full video for more details.
