Updated on Jun 07, 2020 09:36 pm IST
Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, said that Covid-19 cases in countries like India and China were low only due to low testing. Trump was addressing staff of Puritan Medical Products at one of the company's facilities in Guilford, Maine. He also said that US' testing for Covid was 'unrivalled', comparing the nation's statistics with others like Germany and South Korea. The USA is the hardest-hit country by Covid so far with over 18.8 lakh infections, and over 1 lakh deaths, as per World Health Organisation data.
