Many doctors' associations are observing June 1 as a 'black day' to protest against statements they consider offensive and damaging to India's fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Many doctors are also demanding Ramdev's arrest, with the Indian Medical Association having written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking a sedition case against the Ayurveda proponent.
