Delhi L-G Anil Baijal rejected the proposal sent by CM Arvind Kejriwal to lift the weekend curfew. He said the status quo with regards to weekend curfew & markets should be maintained till the situation further improves. Baijal, however, agreed to allow private office spaces to operate at 50% capacity. A final decision is likely to be taken in the Delhi Disaster Management Authority, chaired by the L-G. The Delhi government had proposed lifting weekend curfew & other Covid restrictions. The decision to ease restrictions was taken in view of the declining number of Covid cases in the city.
