100 crore Covid jabs milestone for Modi govt: What next?

India is nearing the mammoth milestone of having administered 100 crore Covid-19 vaccines, a feat completed only by China so far. With this feather in its cap, the Narendra Modi administration should focus on immunising all adults by the end of the year, and then focus on vaccinating children, before broaching the subject of booster shots. This is the view of Hindustan Times editor-in-chief Sukumar Ranganathan, expressed in a conversation with senior editor Aditi Prasad. He also says that India should not expect its vaccination to peak at 75-80% adults, as the rest may be hesitant due to a variety of reasons. Watch the full video for more.
