‘CPEC projects illegal…’: India tears into China & Pak over third country invite

India opposed a bid by Beijing and Islamabad to include third countries in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). MEA in a statement stated that the project passes through illegally occupied Indian territory and such a move will be illegal and unacceptable. External affairs ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said India has seen reports on the two countries encouraging the proposed participation of third countries in “so-called CPEC projects”, and said, “any such actions by any party directly infringe on India’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.” Watch this video for more details
