The High Court has already questioned the efficacy of the odd-even rule for cars in Delhi. But the Delhi government seems sure the new scheme is working.
It told the court today the new arrangement has not only had a definite positive effect on air
quality but also that it could well extend the scheme beyond 15 days.
The big day now seems to be the coming Monday, when the High Court is expected to decide on the scheme's fate. Here's a quick update about its impact on day 8.
