Chinese customs: India-China bilateral trade increased by 15.3% to $31BN+ in the first quarter of this year. Bilateral trade surged despite strained relations due to the prolonged military standoff in eastern Ladakh. As per the report, during the 3-month period from January to March, China's exports to India zoomed to $27.1BN. Trade deficit mounted to $22.23BN as China's exports reached $27.1BN - over 5x - while imports totalled $4.87BN (Jan-March)
