A day after West Bengal Assembly election began, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the BJP is winning at least 26 out of 30 seats in the first phase. This was met with derision by TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, who said that the Opposition party would get 'rosogulla', i.e. zero seats. The West Bengal election is being seen as a prestige battle between Banerjee and PM Narendra Modi. It is believed that the outcome will be decided by five key factors.
