Ban Adipurush: Ayodhya temple priest fumes over ‘wrong depiction’ of Lord Ram

Bollywood film Adipurush has been mired into controversy ahead of its release. The head priest of Ram Temple in Ayodhya has demanded a ban on the film after its nearly 2 minute teaser was released on Sunday. Chief priest Satyendra Das said the portrayal of Lord Ram, Hanuman and Ravana does not conform with the epic and therefore is against their dignity. Uttar Pradesh deputy CMs Brajesh Pathak and Keshav Prasad Maurya also echoed the sentiments along with Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra. Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the film needs to undergo changes before its release. Watch this video for more details.
