Indian film on transgenders bags six awards at LA Film Fest

The cast and crew of the Bollywood movie, 'Queens! Destiny of Dance', which focuses on the lives of transgenders, celebrated the success of their film, after it bagged the top slot in the international film category at the Los Angeles Movie Awards. Lakshi Tripathy, who in a way could be termed as the face of the third gender, said that such films with a social message are only recognized when they are sent to foreign film festivals. The film, made by Miraj Entertainment won five other significant awards, making it an achiever in every possible manner.
