'EU has expired…': western nation betrays allies, openly joins Russia, China? | Hungary| Ukraine| US

Peter Szijjártó argues that while a weakened, ideologically “stuck” Europe has been sidelined from shaping the new world order, Hungary has secured itself a direct seat at that table by cultivating balanced ties with all major power centers, especially China. He claims Europe and “its power centre, Brussels” are trapped in an outdated ideological straitjacket, leaving the continent both weakened and “extremely isolated,” to the point where it is not even invited to the table where the rules of the future order are written. In contrast, he says Hungary’s foreign policy of the past decade has succeeded because every major power center now has an interest in Hungary’s success, noting that Viktor Orbán is, in his view, the only European leader who maintains mutually respectful relations simultaneously with Washington, Moscow and Beijing.
