Europe’s Space Push: Isar Aerospace Launches Spectrum Rocket From Norway

German startup Isar Aerospace launched its Spectrum rocket from Norway’s Arctic Andøya Spaceport on Saturday, September 5, marking another step towards Europe developing independent commercial satellite launch capabilities. The uncrewed Spectrum rocket, designed to carry small and medium-sized payloads, lifted off carrying five small satellites along with an in-flight technology experiment, according to Isar Aerospace.
