CBSE Site 'Breach': Did Hacker Student Change His Own Marks? Big Revelation…| OSM Row Explained

Amid a storm over claims of vulnerabilities and breaches of the On Screen Marking (OSM) portal of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Hindustan Times' Abhishek Singh spoke with Nisarga, the student who claims to have hacked the website and reported it to CERT-In, India's nodal agency for dealing with cyber security incidents. Nisarga explains how he breached the website and discovered multiple vulnerabilities which he says could have been used by malign actors for changing marks, or selling data on the black market. The student, who recently sat for his Class 12 examinations, also reveals how his parents reacted to the entire controversy, and why he is not afraid of action by authorities.
