Hardeep Puri hands over PM’s letter to Afghan-Sikhs in India after Kabul attack

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi penned an open letter to Afghan-Sikh community after the deadly terror attack on Gurdwara Karte Parwan in Kabul on June 18. PM Modi expressed India’s solidarity with the Afghan Hindu-Sikh community in these tough times and called Calling it a 'ghastly act against humanity.' He saluted their 'spirit of courage and resilience against the barbaric attack.' Union Minister Hardeep Puri handed over PM Modi's letter to Afghan-Sikh community in India as he attended participated in the last rites of Sawinder Singh, a Sikh man who was killed in the attack. Hardeep Puri attended the 'antim ardas' and prayer ceremony held at Gurudwara Guru Arjan Dev ji in Tilak Nagar, West Delhi where Afghan minority leaders in India honoured him with 'Siropa' as an appreciation for the affection and importance the Government of India attaches to them.
