2 dead after massive inferno at Kolkata’s plush hotel

At least two people lost their lives and several were injured after a massive fire broke out at the high-end Golden Park Hotel near Ho Chi Minh Sarani on Thursday early morning. The injured were taken to the hospital. Reportedly, fire service officials said the blaze may have started there, set off by a short circuit. Fire service officials rushed to the spot with as many as 10 fire tenders. Officials of the Disaster Management Group and police officers also reached the spot.
