ANALYSIS I Pompeo’s visit sets the tone for Modi-Trump’s G-20 bilateral

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is in New Delhi on a three-day visit to strengthen strategic ties between the two nations ahead of Modi and Trump meet in Osaka, Japan on the sidelines of G-20 Summit. India's missile defense system deal with Russia, which is a bone of contention between the two nations, is likely to come up for discussion. Other issues on the table include terrorism, trade and the situation arising out of US sanctions on buying oil from Iran.
